Ponagar Towers are located about 2 km north of Nha Trang city center. This is one of the largest and most beautiful complexes of Cham cultural relics that still exist in Central Vietnam. The Ponagar Festival takes place annually from the 20th to the 23rd of the third lunar month. This is an occasion for locals and tourists to honor the goddess Ponagar. The festival includes many rituals such as offering incense, bathing the statue of the goddess, and traditional cultural activities like Cham shadow puppetry and folk singing.

Cham shadow puppetry is a unique form of art of the Cham people. This sacred dance expresses reverence for the deities, while also bringing a mysterious and solemn atmosphere to the festival.
